Delivery and Returns

Delivery
Fargro make deliveries using our own fleet of trucks and vans, couriers, and third-party operators, depending on your delivery location and the nature of your order. Our aim is to use the most efficient delivery method available.

If your delivery is assigned to a courier or third-party operator, delivery is typically within four or five working days, depending on the goods within your consignment. Our own trucks and vans have assigned delivery routes for each day.

When you place your order on-line, or by contacting our Customer Services team, you will be advised about your delivery date options.

If you have not received your goods as advised, please call our Customer Services Team on 01903 726100 or email orders@fargro.co.uk, quoting your Order Number.

Access to your Site

Standard delivery of palletised goods requires access for an 18tonne rigid vehicle with a tail lift. The lorries are approximately the same size as a standard dustcart.

Pallets can only be wheeled from the vehicle if there is a hard surface on which the pallet truck can run; this does not include grass, soft or stony ground.

If you have Restricted Access or are unable to accept delivery by these methods, please contact our Customer Services Team on 01903 726100 to discuss your specific requirements.

When are Delivery Charges Applied?

Credit Accounts within 30 miles of the Fargro distribution centre at Vinery Fields, Poling.

There is no charge for deliveries, providing there is not Restricted Access to your premises.

Credit Accounts with a spend of over £5,000 per year (where delivery is to a UK mainland address, excluding Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Wight)

There is no charge for delivery if you have spent £5,000 (five thousand pounds) with us within a rolling 12-month period. Please note, as set out in the tables below, delivery surcharges will still apply for certain products and services.

Credit Accounts with a spend of less than £5,000 per year, or delivery is to Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Republic of Ireland.

If you have spent less than £5,000 (five thousand pounds) within a rolling 12-month period, delivery charges will be applied.

Cash with order accounts

Delivery charges are applied to all cash with order accounts.

Hazardous Product Surcharge

If your consignment contains hazardous goods, a Hazardous Product Surcharge will be applied to all deliveries beyond 30 miles from our distribution centre. Please note that some carriers mandate that hazardous products are palletised, even in small quantities.

NOTE: Delivery for Biological Controls (bugs) is typically charged at £6.80 per delivery.

Small Order Surcharge

All Credit Accounts and Cash with Order Accounts will be charged a small order handling fee of £12.00 for any order less than £150 (excluding VAT). This charge is not applied to sales of biological controls, free-of-charge replacement goods, and samples.

Your order will be reviewed once it has been submitted, and any additional charges for delivery or a small order surcharge may be applied if required. If additional charges are applied, we will contact you prior to despatching your order.

Return of Goods

We do not accept the return of goods, except where the products are damaged or faulty, or where incorrect goods have been supplied. You must notify us of any issues with your order within 3 working days of delivery.  Please quote your Invoice Number or Order Number when you contact Customer Services on 01903 726100 or email orders@fargro.co.uk

The Garden Superstore

For small orders, you may prefer to use Fargro's sister site, The Garden Superstore,  which is optimised for small order handling and despatch.

Click & Collect

You can order your goods for collection from our warehouse. Please do not arrive to collect your goods until you receive an email confirming your goods are ready for collection, which is typically within one hour of your order being received. Collections are scheduled between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Please follow the signs to the reception area where you will find instructions.

Export Restrictions

Some chemicals and plant protection products are subject to export restrictions. If you are purchasing good for delivery outside of the UK, please call our customer services team on 01903 726100 or email ask@fargro.co.uk
