FAQ's

4. Choosing the Right Product1. Product Overview
Q1. What is DCM MICRO-MIX YELLOW and what is it used for?

DCM MICRO-MIX YELLOW is a vegan-certified organic micronutrient mix containing six chelated trace elements — boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum, and zinc — designed to prevent and correct trace element deficiencies in both field and potting soil cultivation.

Q2. Which trace elements does DCM MICRO-MIX YELLOW contain, and what does each one do?

The product supplies boron (B), copper (Cu), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), molybdenum (Mo), and zinc (Zn) — six
trace elements essential for plant enzyme function, chlorophyll production, and a range of metabolic processes that macro-nutrient fertilisers do not address.

Q3. What does chelation mean, and why does it matter for micronutrient availability?

Chelation is a chemical process that binds metal micronutrients to organic molecules, keeping them soluble and plant-available in a wider range of soil pH conditions — preventing them from
precipitating into unavailable forms before the plant can absorb them.

Q4. Why use a balanced micronutrient mix rather than treating individual deficiencies separately?

Micronutrient deficiencies frequently occur together, and correcting one in isolation can sometimes exacerbate another through antagonistic effects — a balanced mix addresses the
full trace element profile simultaneously, reducing both the risk of missed deficiencies and the risk of nutrient antagonism.

2. MINIGRAN® Technology
Q5. What is MINIGRAN® Technology and why does it matter for a micronutrient product?

MINIGRAN® Technology produces homogeneous microgranules between 800 and 2,500 micron — ensuring every granule
contains the same balanced trace element profile, with up to 60% more even distribution than conventional granular products.

3. Application
Q6. What application rates are recommended for DCM MICRO-MIX YELLOW, and what are the maximum permitted dosages?

Field cultivation rates are 2–4 kg/100 m² per application; potting soil rates are 150–300 g/m³ — note that potting soil rates are in grams, not kilograms. Maximum permitted dosages must
not be exceeded: 15 kg/100 m² per 12 months for outdoor crops; 500 g/m³ for potting soil.

4. Choosing the Right Product
Q7. When should I use DCM MICRO-MIX YELLOW rather than targeting individual trace elements?

Use DCM MICRO-MIX YELLOW when multiple trace element deficiencies are present or likely, or as a precautionary programme measure on soils or substrates known to be
micronutrient-limited; use single-element products when a specific, confirmed deficiency needs a targeted correction.

5. Sourcing Through Fargro
Q8. Why source DCM MICRO-MIX YELLOW through Fargro?

Micronutrient management requires accurate diagnosis before application — Fargro supplies DCM MICRO-MIX YELLOW with the technical support of an experienced agronomy team who can help confirm the need, select the right product, and integrate it correctly within a wider growing programme.

6. Packaging
Q9. How is DCM MICRO-MIX YELLOW packaged?

DCM MICRO-MIX YELLOW is available in 25 kg bags, with 30 bags per euro-pallet (750 kg per pallet).
